Workshop Programmes to Unleash Your Inner Rebel

‘Find Your Inner Warrior’ – Six-Week Group Workshop Programme

Price: £240 (£40 per 1.5-hour class)

Through a series of six weekly classes, we'll work with your nervous system to help you find your inner warrior, take up space, express yourself, ask for what you need, set boundaries, and build on self-care. We integrate non-contact boxing techniques with psychological skills, all facilitated by Psychologist and non-contact boxing coach Dr. George Capone.

Who Might Benefit:

  • Women seeking empowerment: Ideal for those wanting to gain confidence and become more assertive in personal and professional settings.

  • Busy professionals: Perfect for women struggling to say no, set boundaries, or prioritize their own needs amidst work or family obligations.

  • Women looking to overcome self-doubt: Great for those needing a confidence boost to overcome feelings of insecurity or hesitation.

  • Introverts or those with social anxiety: Perfect for women finding it difficult to assert themselves in group settings or struggling with setting clear boundaries.

A WhatsApp group will also be available as a motivational peer space to ask questions, check in about strategies practiced outside of class, and share what has worked or not. This group helps apply skills learned to everyday life, giving you more bang for your buck!

‘The Power Within’ – Six-Week Group Workshop Programme

We're excited to offer a new six-week workshop focused on building emotional resilience through non-contact boxing and psychological techniques. This workshop integrates the knowledge of Polyvagal Theory to supercharge the benefits gained from boxing as a sport.

Focus Areas:

  • Building the ability to regulate emotions in the nervous system by increasing body awareness.

  • Experimenting with skills to move more fluidly through freeze, flop, fight/flight states.

  • Finding ways to anchor oneself in feeling safe and connected when alone and with others.

Who Might Benefit:

  • Women with high stress or anxiety: Ideal for those looking to regulate their nervous system and manage stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm.

  • Women recovering from trauma or burnout: Perfect for those wanting to reconnect with their bodies, heal from emotional exhaustion, and learn strategies to move out of freeze.

  • Busy women juggling multiple roles: Great for those needing tools to quickly ground themselves and return to a calm, centered state during busy or challenging moments.

  • Women experiencing emotional dysregulation: Beneficial for those struggling with fluctuating moods or feeling constantly on edge.

Boxercise

Craving a class without the commitment of a full workshop? Slide into our weekly Boxercise sessions at Barnstaple Amateur Boxing Club—where vintage vibes meet female empowerment in motion.

Price: £6, £10 or £15 per class (see sliding scale payment on schedule page)
